Groups with Children

Is AdventureRooms suitable for groups with children?

YES, however all groups with children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult who shall be included in the number of players per game.

Do you host Birthday Parties?

No. Whilst we have lots of children come to AdventureRooms for their Birthdays we do not have the facilities to host parties and teams leave the building shortly after their game finishes, We unfortunately do not have the space to allow for food or drink to be consumed on the premises including Birthday cakes.

Are the games scary or too difficult?

There is nothing scary within the games, however you may experience dimly lit rooms and thrilling music. Each game is based on logic, teamwork and a sense of Fun. Children under the age of 9/10 will need adult assistance to solve the puzzles within the game.

Do adults have to pay to supervise children?

Yes,   all groups with children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult who shall be included in the number of players per game, in the case of a duel game, 2 paying adults will be required.

E.g. A 6 player Mad Scientist game with any children under the age of 14 must have an accompanying paying adult in the game with them. So the players could comprise of 5 children and 1 adult.

In the duel format (7-13 player dependant upon the game chosen) the total group will be split into two teams who will compete against each other at the same time in two 30 minute rounds with a 15 minute break at half time. In this case a paying adult would have to be present on EACH TEAM.

e.g Mad Scientist 6 vs 6 duel. This could comprise of 5 children an 1 adult on each team.

  • UNDER 14? MUST HAVE A PAYING ADULT WITH THEM.
  • UNDER 14 DUEL FORMAT. TWO PAYING ADULTS REQUIRED, ONE PER TEAM.
  • ADULTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF THE GAME.
  • CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 9/10 WILL NEED ADULT ASSISTANCE TO SOLVE SOME OF THE PUZZLES.
